In the conclusion of The Lies story arc, we find out that Barbara Ann isn’t the only one whose mind has been messed with when Diana and Steve return to Themyscira. Meanwhile, Etta continues to be a badass as she discovers the treachery that’s been going on in her unit.

Rucka continues to weave a intricate plot that ties seamlessly into the DC Rebirth storyline in a truly amazing and heartbreaking way. There have been clues all along that something wasn’t right, but it’s not until this issue, where everything is a funhouse parody of what we know, that it all clicks together. It’s brilliantly done and genuinely terrifying.
